Chicago has a vibrant economy and not dependent solely on one big industry.

Both have strong, vibrant economies and offer very good returns.

(A lot of people, young, vibrant)Austin/Portland (I like their eccentric culture, but don't love them because I'm more into diversity at this stage)However, I've found it hard to find a place that matches the critieria: Under 400kMulti-UnitUrban and YoungGood rental or Airbnb marketGood investment and growth to followThe best contender so far would be Chicago where some duplexes surrounding Hyde Park (mainly South of it) near University of Chicago seem to have some affordable multi units.

It is attractive in retirement due to the resources, vibrant environment, lower cost access to sports/ theatre, continuing education, etc.  

I can do this because I have started my own club and grown into a large vibrant organization. 

Playing music and introducing more red and more bright, vibrant colors will help.The same advice applies to those who live near police stations and prisons.

I'm specifically interested in the Capital Square area of downtown, curious whether there is an already vibrant live/work scene there currently or that is being developed.

You will find a vibrant community of others who have left high tax states and love living in the paradise of Puerto Rico.
