I'm looking at a condo for 325K with a gross income of 45K (airdna says 65K, locals say 45K)we would use it when my husband travels for work, and try to let renters have priority, we would finance and HOA is 350It is an 1 1/2 hrs from homebase. 

If I wanted to go that way I would really need to travel to where they are being used and spend a week watching how it all goes talk to all the other subs etc etc.. frankly I like some of the panel construction companies on the east coast we dont really have them on the West coast. 

During the pandemic I was working with several traveling nurses who were looking for short term rentals in the area, close to hospital systems, and were willing to pay 50-70% over market rent for 3-6 month leases. 

And if my husband would let me I’d rent one of our guest bedrooms to a travel nurse. 

Indianapolis hosts a lot of events so people travel into town for all sorts of conventions.MTR market is also strong as we have a lot of hospitals downtown as well as traveling professionals who need furnished housing.

There are basically 3 types, overnights (catering to RV's traveling along interstates), destination (resort style parks that people vacation at) or long term.

Outside of real estate, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. 

I have a couple of 2/2 houses here in the area and I was contemplating making them mid term rentals for the traveling nurse/insurance company play, but I was wondering if anyone is in that space and if its doing well?
