Thats excessive.Also, does your county/state actually have tax stamp fees that are that high? 

The individuals don't get vouchers but they get SSI disability, EBT (food stamps) and other assistance for housing and utility costs. 

Just was wondering if I was wasting my stamps  in December and now agree with Randy that it would be better to wait until January.  

As a buyer this is minor but as seller your cost could be as high as 7 or 8% due to sales commission and title insurance and doc stamps are all calculated on % of sales price.

Don't be a passive investor, get off the letter writing thing, stop licking stamps, or mailing letters regardless of the color, get out there on the street, be proactive and find the deal. 

That is one reason why I suggest just hand stamping some to get started.

Go back to the locksmith and ask him to stamp the keys or engrave them so you know what is what.

Some Judges don't care what the law states or whats in the lease or how many time stamped photos you present,  they do what they want in Justice court.
