Is your DSCR ratio greater than 1-meaning are you cash flowing (according to the lender's criteria of mortgage, property taxes and insurance (and HOA) if applicable).

The insurance would not be valid for two reasons:1) the insured “individual” is no longer the owner2) the insurance was for an owner occupant, not a rentalMost people DO change the insurance to reflect the llc as owner and as a rental.

@Shaheen AhmedI don't know the Ohio markets as well as I know Pennsylvania but (1) taxes can vary widely among counties, cities, municipalities, etc. and (2) the problem right now is that interest rates are so high (although taxes and insurance increasing certainly doesn't help.)What are you trying to accomplish?

If the rate is reasonable then it may make sense to try to save fast to get to the 3.5% down payment on a double or triple - househacking may allow you to increase your savings rate and pay down that loan even faster.As for estimating costs, closing in NY factor at least 1% of the mortgage amount for tax, plus $1500-2000 for lawyer, title and fees, then the amount required by the bank for escrow will depend on the actual property taxes and insurance.

That has been a big thing.The easy way I think to say it is if you are a lender, agent, insurance person, you shouldn't be starting forum posts to elicit feedback in your industry or genre.
