They usually have guest speakers on subjects relating to RE investing.  

Ya know, these speakers gave a lot of information but they did not give step by step approaches.

I have been to the California one... as a guest  I did not pay.. so I did not sit through each module but it is somewhat like a fire hose.. you start at 8 am and go to mid night each day.. there is one speaker after the other teaching you all sorts of different things.. much of it very detailed Like what a square of roofing should costs etc. 

God, listening to his tapes was torture, he does NOT have a lively speakers voice, especially for stuff as dry as trusts.

Not sure how that would work ^^ but I do know this - Since everyone out here learns English, Asia technically has more English speakers than the rest of the world.Thanks again for all the support.

The speakers at the first events are mainly actors from LA  so keep that in mind as well.

I was there for a recent meeting and they has a fantastic guest speaker. 

@Steve Babiak  I had just ate a few of those donuts you gave me and was not really that coherent :)although in CA something like 1 out of 10 adults has a RE licnese its some huge amountwhenever I am a guest speaker at an event first thing I do is ask for a show of hands who is licensedand 3/4ths of the rooms raise their hand;.next up is how many are private lenders about half raise there hands... :) and of course lending in CA needs NMLS or BRE Brokers license so you get the drift.. people just do what they want to do. 

You might be real lucky and get a "cash rich" partner that complements you might be in the future and going to the local clubs and events in real estate investing and are not based on guest speakers that ask for your money.  

I attend kind of sporadically and for networking purposes only, as I've pretty much lost interest in the speakers themselves.
