As a professional property manager, we do move-in and move-out inspections and if those photos do not match, the tenant is responsible.

Let me investigate a house with your local agent and take photos of the major systems BEFORE YOU MAKE AN OFFER.

I do not go barebones because I want tenants that will also respect the place.  

Are their listings detailed with good-quality photos?

Nobody will ever respect you for the blood, sweat, and tears you will go through dealing with all of the pain and agony of trying to navigate such a ridiculous system.

Have you ever noticed that many things that are actually creepy, stupid, and downright evil put a respectable title/ name to it?

A guest that will grossly break your rules will not respect your property. #2.

Allow showings but, you have to be careful - we do not show homes to anyone who has not provided a photo I.D. and been screened through our validation process and provided a credit card in case of damages.
