The “bo ding off”, or whatever they call it in your state, usually involves posting a cash deposit in a court registry equal to 110-120% of the lien amount.Don’t let this guy strong arm you....the threat is the go to move of crappy contractors.BTW, what kind of license does he have and what kind of license is required for the work he is doing?

It's on the Thornton Park historic registry which scares me even more as there are historic architectural requirements that have to be adhered to during renovations.I think this property would go for $400,000 ARV if renovated properly.

(Maybe your county has a better search criteria than mine.)I've had better luck in trying to go for the address first and then going to the local Registry of Deeds records to find further details about that property or property owner.
