I suspect there are ways to speed up this process of decision-making. 

I thought that was odd, but since I am new to the market I wasn't sure what peak demand season actually was. 

Either partner with someone who can invest that money for you, or spend some time/resources getting up to speed on how to best go about jumping into any market you choose. 

In terms of cameras i just use ring and then yes you need to have an internet connection with wifi provider doesn't matter just get enough speed.

I started doing it because our market, in peak season (summer and fall), is a traditional Saturday-Saturday weekly rental market.

We have to keep the zoning department on speed dial because the landlords around us don't want to register their properties as rentals to avoid inspections.

Aside from the traditional long-term rental, the borrower could opt for a short-term rental income strategy instead, in order to generate higher cash flow in a peak period and then sell the property before the 12-month loan term expires.

If you don't have another job to give, you could always pay a bit extra and tell them you really appreciate their patience, speed and quality of work.
