@Christal CampbellI have been doing exactly this for quite some time now, answering your question - without a partner - USE a real estate agent , and pay him by the task... they are licensed ... you will get the job done.. and you dont have to partner / marry any one :-)

I would be careful about buying a new property with your gf unless you plan to marry her.

I have never done house hacking before since i married most of my life, so unsure how well this would work out, currently im single so no more wife issues on this one.
