Because Intuit makes WAY too much money selling preprinted checks.Another example - every few years, the download feature on my Quicken dies, and I have to upgrade ( and pay them $$ ) to get it back.Intuit bites the hands that feed it.

I would encourage you to read through the forums and download some of the free e-books they have on the home page.

You can download them and listen to them in your car or while walking the dog or something.Naturally, you have already found the forums.
