How to tag someone on my phone

Question

stupid question, but when I'm responding to people on the forums I can't tag them with the @ symbol like on the computer. I have an android. I can't do it in the Web browser or on the app. Anyone know how to do that?

Hey @Victor Olowu, I've recently discovered a workaround for mentioning on the android device. First of all, you'll need to use firefox instead of chrome. When mentioning you type the @ symbol followed by the first few letters of the person you want to mention (just like you would normally do). Then add a space after you have enough letters, and voila! A list of people to mention should pop up. For example: "@Vict " should work on a firefox browser for your android device. Just make sure you wait a second after the space to allow the list to load. Let me know if this helps.

Yes, @Mindy Jensen I am attempting to tag colleagues.  The only names that show up are responders to the thread, and that's only when I type '@?', not when I try to @ their first few letters of their name directly.

@Victor Olowu, you will only be able to tag people you are colleagues with, or people who have already responded to the post. Are you sure you're trying to tag colleagues?

I am using Chrome on an Android device, not the app. Is this a known issue?

@Manolo D., this isn't a feature of the app, so it won't work right now. The other issues you are experiencing are being fixed with future releases. I'll make sure our devs know about this.

@Mindy Jensen Experiencing the same thing on ios, also, after i reply to a message in inbox, it crashes, but my message will go through. most of the time it also happens when i post a reply on a thread, a few times it doesn't crash, but most of the time it does. I am using iphone 6, updated ios. Pretty good work with the new app. 🤗

Hi @Kevin Gerace. This isn't a stupid question. But it is a feature that isn't available on the app right now. It is planned for a future release.
