Its always best to have secure income before embarking on real estate investing - if you are wanting an investment mortgage for example, its much easier to get when working full time.BP is one of many resources out there - personally, I'm not super active here, however, I've used it to source out of town contacts (given our sweet city has unquestionably limited cashflow opportunities).
