Tiger, that's not really a bad approach, the issue is really the depth of knowledge to go on it alone, I wish it were easy, I'd be happy to tell all I know, but that really isn't possible.I'll say this, I am working on it, I would like to give some aspect of due diligence, that's where the issue really lies, anyone with a calculator can figure a yield.

While the person giving you the PPM has a lot to lose if they didn't do it right, you don't want to step into a sticky situation where the issuer blows their registration exemption and gets nailed by the securities regulators.

So say for CSLB your next contractor will quote you 8k to fix the previous’ damage and bring you the product, you will then have to pay the surety bond issuer (contractors bond with cslb) the 2,600 and they will go after the contractor for the whole balance, 8k less 2,600.
