I just purchased Brandon Turner's book on rental investing and have been listening to the audio book through my chrome book at home.

You in a perfect position to listen to all the BP podcast, audio books while trucking down the road.

I live in nyc where apartments are much more expensive and I'm renting a small studio.

It is basically a 3 bed/2 bath upstairs and 3 bed/2 ba downstairs with a studio over the garage.  

I love the built environments, so my other idea was architecture, but I didn't want to spend long hours in the design studio.

James,We do this, but give gift cards to local businesses in the neighbourhood: restaurants, pilates/yoga studios, cafés, etc.  

What is a 1 BR worth, what is a studio or 2br really worth?

Anyone have any experience with 1B/Studios that might enlighten me on something I'm missing?

I have thought of converting this to a studio to rent out (or maybe rent the house and live back there). 3) Leave it all as is...update for $3000 paint and stuff and just rent the house.
