I am a Realtor and a project manager my fathers home building company so i have all the resources to start investing.

I have my father there where my property is and can help me with showing it or anything else.

Your father taught you how to drive in most cases.

It's not about big houses, boats, planes, and cars, jewelry, fur coats, and trips around the world-- though I've had and done my share of all that-- it's about going to sleep at night knowing that if I don't wake up, my family has fond memories of me, that I was there for them while I could be, and that the last thing they have to worry about amid the trauma of losing a husband and father is money.

Make sure that everything you do between you and your father is in writing.

I am lucky in that my father lent me the money to purchase my first rental property.

I will tell you I am immensely proud of the life he lived and the legacy he left to my father who, is himself a highly successful investor, and myself who will one day be as successful as my father.

His father owned billboards all over.
