Sure you'd have decreased cash flow for awhile but then you'd be reducing your liabilities and the total amount that you would have to pay back over time.

If they sold they were likely over leveraged as in the area where I have my rentals and the area my family has their rentals (certainly not all Coastal So Cal areas) there was no rent decrease during that RE depreciation cycle.
