These are just a few questions to investigate and help in taking next steps.  

But in the end I take that I do need to be more proactive in finding my own deals, and in taking bolder action sooner - regardless of who my agent is.Thanks for the comment.

There will be more deals in the future, and there's no harm in taking time to evaluate sponsors, learn to underwrite deals, and define your criteria.
