Not sure if there was any truth to those rumors or not, but we bought it from the father of the seller who was acting on the seller’s behalf as they were incarcerated, so it’s not out of the realm of possibility.

I heard a rumor that Ashville was cracking down of STR and were not allowing new ones (although I'm not sure how anyone would be able to tell if a house was a new one or old one). 

Again, this is all just rumors, there's not a "source."

Where does the ordinary income tax rumor, if it is that, come from?   

I remember a podcast I heard where a recent RE business hired an assistant from another local realtor, and that realtor started spreading untrue rumors around town about his business in retaliation.  

Maybe the rumor is true, Seattle is one of the most expensive cities in the nation! 

Now, spreading rumors or deficiencies that can not be proven about a property can land you in court!

RyanYes, it is currently legal and is done all the time through co-operative assignments and flex options.I say currently because there are some rumors that the DRE is going to be taking a look at these because there are a lot of people doing this and consider themselves exempt because of acting as a principle in the deal which they currently are..I expect there will be a test case, maybe a seller asking for the money the investor made back.

It's abandoned (although the owners park a truck their to keep people away and actually semi-maintain the property).The rumor is there is a foot of bat guano inside.
