IF it's in Damascus I would question the ability to find roommates for it. 

We're looking for roommates to house-hack the unit with us, but that's a separate discussion for now...We are currently renting in Clairemont, San Diego with the Duplex escrow closing on June 11th. 

My income is 16x the monthly rent yet the screening process and rules were very stringent (or so I thought) to include no pets or roommates.

Hello everyone, My roommates and I have run into a slight conundrum regarding our security deposit at a rental we just moved out of in Atlanta, Georgia.

She says the other party has the intention of remaining in the residence, and she would guess he would intend on moving a room-mate in.I have a call schedule tomorrow morning with the other party that is on the lease.After speaking to the other party and understanding his intentions assuming he intends to stay do I make any amendment to the lease releasing her of liability?

I have used this approach with my roommates and it seems to ease the response to "no" and I don't look cheap or a jerk.

The 7 years she lived there, she always had two roommates.

Second, the roommate thing...roommate situations rarely work out, esp. if one of the roommates has kids.

Also, a vacancy rate of 10% is about a month, is that honestly enough time to find a new roommate? 

I have 3 friends/roommates looking to move into one of my units and 2 of them make 4x their portion of rent but one only makes 2x her portion of rent as she is a student finishing up school.
