In my head (which I warn goes astray at times...lol) I see something like perhaps meeting on Monday mornings and everyone sets or shares a goal or their milestones for the upcoming week.

For larger jobs it might be paid in 1/3rds or some other payment schedule that makes sense for the particular job...If it’s larger than that there is generally some kind of milestone to be able to identify as a point where another payment is made.

In any case, any offer to lease or purchase the property made to the landowner should be tied to milestones that you lay out in the form of a short critical path which is used to define the amount of time you need to obtain project entitlements and get to a shovel ready state and hence the Closing Date. 4.
