Don't even think about getting involved in this unless the builder is a local citizen and has been building for a long long time ( 20 years or more). 

Other wise the best you can get as a Canadian citizen is 60% LTV.

Many people ignore that private American (and Canadian) citizens own a colossal amount of real estate in Mexico as a group.

@David Ng  Most lenders will not lend to non-US citizens on investment properties....and if they do, typically both down payment and interest rate will be higher.MFH is not common in Plano....if you are talking about small MFH 2-3-4 units. 

My question is more for how frequently I should follow up and what methods are going to illicit a response.
