@Griffin Stephens - Personally, I've found that it isn't necessarily about going out and finding that mentor.It's about attending meetups routinely, hopping on the phone with experienced investors, building friendship-based relationships, thinking about others first, providing value, and it will come back to you in the long-run.After a couple of years of this, you'll have dozens of friends you can call up anytime for advice.

They add the problem of allowing emotion to cloud your judgement when running your business.Now you have to deal with that quandary........ screw up your friendship or screw up you business investment..... your choice.Personally I would do everything possible to take this opportunity to fix the early mistake of renting to people that you have an emotional connection to....... no way these people are getting back in my unitStop and repeat to yourself...... they disable smoke alarms and burned my unit!!!!
