Not limited to that though, meaning if we encounter a deal we can do, like a subject-to, owner financing, etc., we'll be open to it.  

Now if you are doing complex creative owner financing, wraps, need clever clauses, encounter title issues, doing messy deals, or are buying commercial property, etc, then you may want to pre-meet legal and other transaction professionals.

I  had the amazing opportunity to transact with numerous portfolio lenders, let me be the first to say; this is the most reclusive space in lending I have yet to encounter.My most recent encounter was complex!

No - in 13 years investing in real estate I have not encountered such a rule.
