Knowing the Rochester market a bit and how big of a boom town it is now and will be with the continued expansion of the Mayo clinic, it'd be a very safe investment.

I'm a clinical social worker/therapist by license/training, MBA student (OU in Athens, OH ), spent 10 years in the US Army, and spent all 10 of those years studying real estate investing but never taking action.

We both have demanding "day jobs" (I am a Clinical Research Associate for Phase I oncology clinical trials, and my husband heads up the operations for a telecommunications start-up company), but like many others we are seeking long term investment opportunities.We hope not to get stuck in the "analysis paralysis" stage and are actively seeking to build relationships in the Columbus, Ohio area (we recently relocated due to Chi's operations; yes, I blame him for the weather!)

Some major employers out of Cleveland are, Progressive Insurance, Sherin-Williams, American Greetings, and The Cleveland Clinic (which is the largest employer in Ohio) They are all headquartered in the greater Cleveland area.

A clinic is being run out of the facility and it is generating rental income but due to the BofA loan everything can be put in jeopardy.

My day job is being Technical Supervisor of a Clinical Laboratory.

How did you manage your portfolio while still being clinically busy?

I graduate next year with my BSN  after that my goal is to more education so I can hopefully open my own clinic.

I have found value investing in Cleveland, OH because it is home to Cleveland Clinic, lot of good neighborhoods, landlord friendly laws, stable appreciation and good cash flowing properties.

I have a vacant office space that I think would work really well for a doctor or a dentist.It's in a blue collar part of town, and it would be a great place for a medicaid clinic.
