Sean Boivin Using VR to sell to investors over seas?
21 June 2017 | 20 replies
I think it's harder to do well. One last suggestion, for the final touch you could order a few custom branded Google Cardboard goggles to send with the investor package - your prospective investors can immerse themselves in the Matterport scan and have a memento that is way better than a calling card.
Jared Carpenter accredited investor process
27 July 2021 | 26 replies
The SECs reasoning for this is that if you are an individual earning a certain amount of money (in excess of $200,000 per year for instance), or are of a certain worth (say $1,000,000) or with certain assets or funds in the bank, the logic (however flawed) is that such a person by default must have an ability to make informed decisions about an investment and therefore is accredited.Obviously one can have a PhD in Finance and be well qualified to make complex investment decisions and not be an 'accredited investor' but the SEC in an attempt to 'protect' investors, defines a class of investors that an 'issuer' of securities can legally solicit when trying to raise funds.

Roc P. Wholesaling REOs
26 July 2013 | 8 replies
The most important thing that I teach our Wholesalers is that You are only as good as your "rolodex" (ancient cardboard (papyrus) device that stored names and phone numbers;-) Now replaced by "contacts" list on iPhones). Here's the goal: When you walk to your car from getting an agreement signed by a Seller you must be able to call at least two Buyers that can take you out of your contract for a fee!
John McKinnon The first investment, how do you transition existing tenants?
8 January 2019 | 14 replies
In NH (and most states) you only need to give 30 days notice to issue rent increases/notice to vacate that everyone in this thread has mentioned.
Jessica Parker "Share Your Credit"
9 February 2017 | 25 replies
All I'd have to do is get a free copy of my own credit report, figure out what new Visa account is on there, and then contact that bank/issuer and request a card for myself since I'm an authorized user on the account.
Therese V. Creative Financing or Dumb Idea?
