Driving for dollars

Just went driving for dollars and I gotta say it wasn't as bad as I thought. I actually got out of my car to talk to the neighbors about the distressed properties. I gave out all 7 of the business cards i had left and got some pretty exciting feedback! My dad has been a salesman his whole career and the advice he gave me before my venture was before i was to talk to a stranger to think of one of my friends and talk to the stranger as if he/she was my friend. That advice really helped me out and allowed me to easily have a conversation with the stranger. My first order of postcards should be arriving in the mail within the next couple of days. I'm very excited to get started and working everyday to get my first deal!

@Robbie Knecht,

Congrats on taking your first step towards closing your first deal. I am a wholesaler in the Charlotte area and I must say that driving for dollars has worked wonders for me. I did not have much money to put towards marketing so I decided to drive for dollars in my neighborhood. I closed on my first deal last month for 3k and I will close on my second deal this month for 2k. Driving for dollars allows you to get out and meet with some of the next door neighbors which could help you out a lot. Robbie keep pushing forward and I wish you the best of luck in all of your endeavors.
