Smaller boutique organizations, on the other hand, can be wonderful if you prefer a more customized approach and are willing to accept perhaps lower beginning commissions.

I know that the larger "V A", "Co-Host", "Booking Management" companies pay for their clients' Vrbo subscriptions or PPB fees, but my boutique business cannot support that expense.

Boutique firm vs national franchise?

I bought a house only a mother could love in a downtown neighborhood of Oklahoma City. 5 blocks away there is a "district" with clothing boutiques, trendy restaurants, breweries, and wine bars.

Small, boutique property management companies or investors who self-manage are more likely to build this into their criteria.
