Much easier to do it all in one batch of payments.  

First batch with postcards using first-class, then follow-up with yellow-letters using standard mail.

The fourth most efficient method is to use the batch payments method to enter the checks one by one into Rent Manager. 

If you do batch data/bigger lists you can get price breaks and get those numbers down further.
