Although it was an "alligator" as far as investment purposes once I moved out, it was a great learning experience and gave me the itch to invest in RE myself.So my motivation is making a better life and future for my growing family.

I transfered my job to Houston in 2013 bought a turn key in 2014 for $154K (twice the size of LA house) and have been itching to explore the real estate investing world.

Well to be honest, it's the first off market potential deal I've gotten, close to home so I can personally do some of the renovations, been itching to find a deal in a while, this one with the potential of no down payment, and wanted to help the person out too.

They just need the desire or 'itch'!

You almost never see your portfolio drop 30% in a week, which takes away some of the worries with stocks.I think I'll want to work on something new in the next 25-30 years and RE could scratch that itch.
