Situations like this are PM101- if you don't know what you are doing and don't act professionally and with authority, tenants will smell that from a mile away and the chances of being taken advantage of are VERY high.

This is standard for ACH so this is not specific to Buildium as you could encounter this with any ACH payment if the tenant lies and says it was not authorized.
