If this is outside your budget, then I would suggest you look toward the Plainfields (North, South, and Plainfield) and west (Dunellen, Middlesex, Green Brook) which are on the Raritan Valley train line and are ~1hr to midtown by rail, with easy highway access to 78. 

Try that on the west coast, where a 600,000 home became a 500,000 home in only 7 months during our price correction.

They are based up north on east coast but prob work around USA.

Mid west type markets from Pittsburgh to Indianapolis.

The mid west is a huge market.

I believe west Chula Vista is likely to outperform the general market because 1) bay front redevelopment 2) the age and price of west Chula Vista.

With Brie's help, I closed on my first house hack in April 2022 in west Logan Square (near Scofflaw, just north of the 606), putting 10% down and got a 30 year fixed at 4.125%.

Louis's Central West End neighborhood, walkable to various hospitals, educational institutions, and the cortex, which is an innovation incubator.

There are plenty of centuries old houses on the east coast that have been upgraded and properly maintained over the years.
