First I'd suggest that you fill out your Keyword Alerts (top of page, under blue stripe, and below notifications) You might put your area, multi family, fourplex, or whatever you'd like to be notified of when there's a post dealing with it.

When I am driving for dollars I look for: boarded up windowsbroken windowstall grassa general unkept appearancemissing mailboxoverflowing mailboxsigns of major expense (blue tarp on roof, etc.)no exterior landscaping (possible sign of a rent house)for rent signsFSBO signsno curtains or blindsIf I see someone out in the neighborhood I stop and ask them if they know of any vacant houses nearby and tell them what I do.Im sure there are other things but thats a start.

You will know it works when the name appears in light blue.

Company colors, how's it look in royal blue and light grey, red and white, yellow and black....?

Ensure that pilot flame is strong and blue.

Look at the top right of this page, just under the blue banner, where it says Notifications, just under that!

Other trades used blue painter tape to attach paper for protection for maybe 2 hours.
