Keep in mind the busing and public transport is not a viable option and with the availability of student housing within walking distance of the school it is unrealistic to believe people will live in a student rental if it is at a distance unless they have a car and your rent is cheap.  

On a side note, I heard that the Best in Show rabbit at the national rabbit convention one year was transported in the cabin of an airplane because the owner claimed it was a "therapy pet", lol!

The local Government is doing nothing to attract new business, new infrastructure and new transportation.

Maybe not directly, but indirectly in terms of the production and transportation costs of the eggs.

Other houses for even less, are in areas without jobs, schools, public transportation, , shopping, etc.

Those two towns have a pretty good transportation systems.  

I’m also depreciating a newly purchased commercial mower ($6000) and an enclosed trailer ($5000) to store and transport it and other equipment to the property over 5yrs (I think) or $2200/yr.

As most NYers agree - it's one of (if not the) best places on earth (certainly in the US) because we have incredible diversity, openness, creativity, access, architecture, history, culture, opportunity, transportation etc..  

Are they near public transportation, schools, etc?
