I own a travel agency and have monitored booking calendars similar to our villa for 6+ years, and knew the ROI would be there.

However, being close to the National Park makes typical travel time longer and being closer to the Four Seasons Resort can be accompanied by high HOA fees.

@Justin Ceballos thanks for the great advice, ive traveled for most of the island but honestly the only time im in the north is when i land in san juan.For the most part i stay in the southern part of the island from cabo rojo to humacao.

My tenant travels extensively for long periods of time.

After asking for status reports, his then assistant would give me a short answer and advise Carson had more to tell me but that he was traveling....always traveling, and that he would call me back upon returning to the office.

@Roberto Falckwill you travel there in person to supervise acquisition and rehab? 

For example, I got my property in the medical center bc its close to UTSA for my tenants, and when they move out I can rent it to travel nurses, UTSA students, or medical students.

I'm particularly passionate about building custom homes and using  the BRRRR method.Outside of real estate, I enjoy ATV riding, playing soccer and basketball and also traveling the world and connecting with new people.Excited to learn and connect with you all!
