New STR applications for places like Locust Lake Village, Camelot Forest and Greenwood Acres are now facing the real possibility of having to sit on a waiting list.  

A 30-year fixed rate mortgage is currently sits around 6.15% interest:All else being equal, lower mortgage rates reduce the cost of ownership and, thereby, allow more people to afford to buy.

Admittedly, I am eager to find the right property and invest my capital to begin generating returns so sitting on a lot of capital for months or years seems wasteful.  

We got a really good deal on it because it was sitting for a long time and we came in under asking direct to the agent for the seller.

The stuff that sits tends to be over priced junk in junk areas, or that have some issues with the listing, curb offers or what have you. 

I would guess if you went there you would see its sitting. 

Building sits on a corner and all basement windows are above ground.

It's sitting on 1.5 acres and right off a state road in between a few big towns.

I can see as more and more lots were being investigated developers will move to smaller projects that sits even closer to customers.
