If you are serious about buying a house, you definitely want to know what work it needs and what secrets the property has before making an offer. 

I would suggest becoming a "secret shopper".

Doesn't appear to be any secrets left :) I have a couple of calls lined up with brokers on Monday to learn more.

That way you don't actually have to do any work, people will just give you free money once you know the secret system.

I thought they found a secret pocket of decent properties in a decent area with a good tenant pool. 

The secret to survival is learning how to surf or stay afloat.

There are no secrets in real estate, we've been in this basic structure over a hundred years and there is nothing that is really new,  just a new twist to old methods, it's been done before.
