Not to steal your thread.. however I think you will get a kick out of this.one of the ones I bought his year in North Portland.... the rumor from neighbors was there was a car in the basement.. well there was no driveway or any way to get into the basement from the exterior so I did not believe it.. we finally get possession after 2 years ( had to litigate it)  and lo and behold my trash out guys says there is indeed a car sitting in the basement.. so apparently this hoarder extreme took it down there piece by piece and put it back together. 

They have assets all over the world, and not all of them require fracking so they are much cheaper to extract.Here are the rumors i have been hearing:BP is planing a round of layoffsCompanies are taking a wait and see mentalityprices will only stay down for a yearprices will only stay down for 6moOur comapny saw this market correction coming from a long ways away. 

There has been unsubstantiated rumor of small layoffs in the company for over a year.

Rumor I am hearing is the HUD won't allow a separate charge for water unless each unit is meter.  

There are many opinions, rumors and recommendations but if you want to get straight to the right answer find an Attorney.

And the republicans are fabricating rumors about the legislation to scare the public into opposing it.

As far as the negative attitude towards newcomers to the area, I have heard rumors that is was like that, but I've never encountered anything since I've been here.

I have heard rumors that the state of NC limits the number of hearts/heads per bedroom.

I've heard rumor that some turnkey companies aren't reputable (as in every industry) and will sell you things in a war zone type of area, jacking up the price so you don't even realize what you're getting. 

Also, the rumors you have heard about the process being a bit more lengthy than traditional conventional financing is true.
