The same applies to buying businesses whether it’s online businesses, plumbing companies, or professional services like a CPA rollup.

I’m always looking to implement best management practices so what can I, as a landlord, do to protect myself when accepting online payments?

Every contact I needed for insurance, mortgage and cleaners were done online, mostly through connections from BP. 

Though I appreciate the idea of finding online resources and studying them, I find that a curated, tried and true formula (if it works) is much more worth my time than spending time trying to find which resource works best and then spitballing the ideas until something sticks. 

The investors accepted it.  3 months later the buyer tried to reduce the purchase price to $2.6M to stiff arm the investors. 

I would identify a market based on your current capacity and begin to network online and here on BP to form a solid trustworthy team to help you get going.

@Tanya Maslach For properties in Ohio, it’s simpler to form an LLC in Ohio rather than Colorado, as it avoids registering as a foreign LLC and reduces costs and administrative work.
