I've owned my rental SFH for 1.5 years, and noticed my property tax is significantly higher than my neighbors' properties with similar square footage and conditions.  

That remodel is going to take both time and capital, so it’s a key part of my plans as well.Would love to hear how others are approaching similar goals—anyone else tapping into equity or gearing up for larger projects?

The two countries may seem similar, but they are so different and I say that with my sister's family (who are American) sitting in the same room as me right now.For housing, I can't think of many Canadian cities where you can buy a house under $100K (or even $200K).

We just had a section 8 tenant where the rent increase was approved from 995 to 1295 because of shortage and market rents for similar homes.

I can find numerous other similar homes for investors.
