hope it works.. but throwing in the affordable housing requirement a lot of times kills the project right there.Also at least in markets I have worked the time lines START from completed submission.. you make your submission and then get an incomplete letter this goes on for months and months soo time lines still extend.. but at least its a step in the right direction hope if works.

Here in the USA you have to be licensed to build a structure that will house someone else.

Not able to buy in this area without going house poor.

If house hacking isn't the best option for me, how would you recommend starting out to build up some investments.

I have long form articles on both this Fair Housing law with section 8 and the scam tenants with fake info on our website.  

It is presumed that "Multifamily" housing will have multiple families inside.

Alternative route I chose, I will leverage my duplex (purchased 4 years ago) equity through house hacking to have skin in the game on next flip.

I had to look it up but it looks like they are selling it from an inclusive package experience for the renter. 

For most people a house hack is a great start.
