I work full-time as an ER physician in the greater Boston area and believe my particular skill set equips me well for long-term success in REI despite being somewhat of a late bloomer.

We have moved to hardwired-interconnected with battery backup (in older buildings we use the ones that interconnect wirelessly if we cannot easily pull a 14/3 between the detectors).We also make it very clear in our lease that disabling or impairing the functionality of any fire/gas detection or suppression equipment is a minimum $200.00 fine and cause for termination of the tenancy.

Honestly though it might could be your accountant (assuming he/she is investor-friendly and well equipped on this type of stuff), which could be much cheaper than a lawyer.

you should be able to reuse your pump and equipment unless you need a submersible.  

Make sure whomever you're hiring follows proper safety practices, has a safety plan, proper tools, PPE (personal protection equipment), etc......especially on a demo job.  

It's so true that financial advisory professionals are not typically equipped to help their clients through the issues involved in developing wealth or income using real estate.I live in Silicon Valley, and I'm an investment advisor who specializes in real estate. 

I have been working for major companies for my career so far doing engineering design, equipment and property maintenance, assessments, repairs, contract management, construction management and much more.
