It takes me three weeks to order and install countertops...I am not an expert in global economy, but I can see how the quarantine and the resulting reduction of production and travelling have an impact on the economy.

Which countertop type would you recommend for a rental? 

I undertook a pretty thorough cosmetic rehab of the property, which included new floors on the main level; fresh paint on all walls, trim, windows, and doors; new countertop and sink in kitchen; new stainless steel appliances; new tub and surround and painted/updated bathroom; and epoxy paint to floor of basement.

Changed the countertops.  

We are a family of 5 so adding a couple of extra bedrooms, an extra bathroom per floor, a separate living space on second floor, extra garage space, brick/stone exterior, upgraded flooring and countertops, lots of closet space, etc.

I recently purchased a home in Pensacola Florida using an FHA 203k loan (160k pp with $32k reno funds).Most of the reno funds are being used for interior cosmetic things like refinishing wood floors, new cabinetry, countertops, bathroom tile, etc..
