Also, don't expect straight streets - the roads look like spaghetti dumped on the ground from a birds eye view as the developers wanted to make as many lake view properties as possible. 

More BP members should start investing in markets where there are barriers or a well thought out thesis why the market will appreciate and barriers will develop rather than solely chasing cash flow in low barrier markets.

Let them know of the situation, get your insurance transferred and then let them go to work for you chasing down the deposit and what not.

What are you chasing? 

They are very, very tough on gang activity (which is good) and they even have a gang unit that just chases the bad guys out of town. 

I chased bids for our last batch of jobs (came in high) and sadly, the high pricing was consistent.

Most who buy single family homes fail to even realize the true business they are in and make the mistake of continuing to chase the cash flow not realizing how inefficient of an asset class this is to operate, particularly in the lower income markets. 

Remember, no system is perfect, so avoid the temptation of constantly chasing after the next shiny object.

Focus on something that will generate additional revenue, right now you will be chasing it
