@Matt Ward My opinion is that when people decide to first invest in real estate they are unaware of syndications and how they work so they invest in something that is attainable for them at the time.

The chances of you being invested go up as you attain more properties, and in the case there would be a lawsuit that exceeds, or is excluded by, your insurance policy it can directly impact both the property involved and any other personal assets you have.

@Jonathan Nixon Lol there’s a difference between having big goals that are attainable and hoping for a miracle.

The reasoning supposedly is that FHA is meant to help people attain the home ownership dream, not become an investment vehicle, so for them someone going from a 4 plex to a duplex means they are closer to the end goal of single family ownership.

Your 5 year goal looks very attainable.

Your goal is super attainable, and with some hustle you can get it done.

Curious to know, assuming these occupancies are high and stable, if people are purchasing matured properties with slim margins as so and if they are able to attain good ROIs within a 5yr period. 

. - basically, a small community.The have been engaged in this for almost 2 years, have done a significant amount of preliminary work and attained much of the approvals.
