I realize I could make a buck more by dealing with all the headaches managing an out of state STR with technology, but my marriage and time with my family is worth more than that :)  

We close about 100-140 deals in Milwaukee every year and I would not attempt to FSBO my house.

or instead of worrying about it.. simply pay the few hundred bucks and get a title commitment from your local closer/title company that will tell you where you stand for sure..

There are a few Milwaukee investors who are fairly active and looking for partners. 

In this case I simply advertise on the base newspaper which is super cheap given how frequently people come and go there are always reliable leads to be found.Or how about creating a simple "I Buy Houses" website and spend a few bucks to have it professionally made and SEO optimized?
