Under Denver's Airbnb laws, those would be treated the same as any other kind of rental on the property where you live (whether that's a different kind of basement apartment/mother-in-law suite, a carriage house, or just a room rental STR).

If you are looking at a property with a homestead exemption, the property is likely owner occupied.Homestead exemption provides a discount on property taxes.If you will treat the property as a personal residence, you can assume you would receive a similar discount.If you will treat it as an investment property, your property taxes will likely be higher.
