Dealing with skyrocketing property taxes?

Lastly - sis is trying to buy the building from usoriginaly (day one after auction) we thought it would be a good idea)now after we have seen the property and know what a good deal it is - we prefer to keep it instead of the quick flipIt is hard to get our hands on a well priced multifamily and we thought this would be a good intro for us into the buy and hold.We could sell to her for a quick few bucks - but I want to learn the process. 

I'm curious about how challenging it is to take ownership of these properties given the city's tenant-friendly policies.

That said I did NOT lose money on that property.

I've seen postings on the front door of the property about investors trying to purchase it from the owner numerous times.

Do not let the tenant dictate what happens with your property.

I'm considering investing in syndications during this time while stacking capital until i hit my capital goal for my next property investment.

What will you do with the STR replacement property, on the lake, in the off-season while it is vacant? 

I also ask them for the forwarding address when they give notice that they are vacating the address and also give them a reminder notice of their right to be present at the close out inspection and ask them to tell me when the property will be completely vacant and a request of a date and time to have that inspection if they desire to be present. 

I cant seem to make them understand that I am looking for people who just owe back taxes but still own the property.
