Totally Agreed today out driving for dollars, any neighborhoods youd say to give a look?

Any help is greatly appreciated.My primary interest is in multifamily however with the competition for multi being high and the pickings slim, I am also very interested in single-family homes in C+ or better neighborhoods that cash flow well.Dave

Pick a neighborhood or area, and drive / walk EVERY street.

I guess one thing that is good is that our duplex is in one of the best neighborhoods.

I'll be coming into town from San Diego for the weekend to view properties, neighborhoods, and meet with local service providers. 

Screen early and screen often and you should be alright, even in a rougher neighborhood.

I'm looking at a portfolio just south of Exchange in the heart of student housing neighborhoods.

I've found rentometer to be a good starting point, but often inaccurate as it doesn't reflect neighborhood to neighborhood changes very well. 

Do you mind sharing some of the details of the square footage, neighborhood, rent amount, etc?
