I ended up selling it for a tidy profit even after holding costs but, thats because i bought it so cheap and it was in a great area of Stone Mnt. ..they always say Location , location , location ... and that brings me to my next point ... location ... when buying in a area you do not know ..your taking a chance that the company your dealing with is pulling wool over your eyes .. i would suggest you consider finding someone that can look out for your interests .. a boots on the ground type of guy .. out of stare investing can be very rewarding but there are challenges .. if you would like to talk more to me about how i have helped other investors navigate most of these challenges , just send me a colleague request and ask away ..

Over the last month, we had an unusual situation in that 5 units all came vacant at (roughly) the same time as leases were ending; instead of tenants renewing, two bought houses, one couldn't navigate steps any longer, one changed jobs out of town, etc.

I am having trouble navigating to a specific forum.I use the "Browse Forums" drop down menu and a list of forums show up to be selected, and if I hoover my cursor over any of those another level of subforums would be listed to it's right.That works for me as long as I am selecting the first seven forums on the drop down menu.

That is my experience at least...There is a big difference in Indy between "low income" and "war zone" neighborhoods, and navigating that can be tricky.
