I would have filed a 1031 exchange and reinvested the money from the sale to buy another property to avoid paying taxes.

So This was me when I was a wee lad, and the way we did it was my dad issued me a 1099, I believe there are limits where the child may not have to file a tax return, but I filed anyway because I was able to put that money into a Roth IRA because having a Roth IRA at 13 gives you so much time to compound that money tax free.

I am NOT usually able to qualify in my state, but I do believe I would be eligible for the 'bonus $600 per week'.If I file and get the unemployment, and THEN the PPP funds come through at some point, can i continue the unemployment since "I am not working" (being under the shelter in place order) of do I need to count the PPP payments as 'working income/wage'?
